A Journey Through Parallel Realities and Musical Dreams HYDRA – The Australian Toto Show – is a passionate tribute to one of the most musically sophisticated bands in rock history. Based in Australia, HYDRA was born from a shared dream: to honour the timeless music of Toto, particularly the era defined by the legendary Jeff Porcaro, Steve Lukather, and David Paich.

 

The journey began with guitarist Michael Uberti and drummer Ashley Warner, who both envisioned creating a Toto tribute show that captured the spirit and complexity of the original band. After early challenges with lineup changes and commitment, the pieces finally began to fall into place.

 

A chance encounter with bassist Michael Emmerling reignited the project, and soon after, vocalist Millie Clifton and drummer Ashley Warner rejoined to form the band’s foundation. As the group grew, more talented musicians were drawn in by the shared love of Toto's music and the dedication to doing it justice.

 

Today, HYDRA is a dynamic 9-piece band made up of experienced musicians who bring passion, precision, and energy to every performance. Their mission: to recreate the rich textures, lush harmonies, and unforgettable melodies that have made Toto a household name for decades.
